Red Barn Rare Breeds

Red Barn is a family run farm that is dedicated to preserving rare and endangered domestic breeds. We are open to the public, and offer picnic areas, a gift shop , a concession and , of course, a chance to see all the wonderful animals who live here on the farm! Educational guided tours are available, or you can wander through on your own.  We are located in the heart of the beautiful Rocky mountains, about 15 minutes west of  Golden B.C.  

News for 2010!!!!

We are very sorry to have to tell everyone that we will not be open for the 2010 summer season. We are undergoing renovations to the gift shop and offive  as well as adding a few new features out in the barn yard. Most of all though we are expecting our third child right in the middle of all this!!! We hope all our great customers will understand , and we will be bigger and better next summer. See you soon!
